Ludhiana: FIR against MP Ravneet Bittu and others, action in case of locking the Municipal Corporation

Police has registered FIR after the 27th February action taken by the Congress leaders.

Ludhiana: Police of Ludhiana Division Number One registered a case against the Congress leaders. The case has been registered against Member of Parliament Ravneet Singh Bittu, Former MLA Bharat Bhushan Ashu, District president Sanjay Talwar and Deputy Mayor Sundar Sham Arora.

Police has registered FIR after the 27th February action taken by the Congress leaders. Congress leaders on February 27 demonstrated against the Municipal Corporation and raised the issue of deteriorating cleanliness in the city. The protesting leaders also put lock on the Zone A gate of Municipal Corporation.

In fact, this complaint has been registered on the complaint of Amit Kumar, an employee of the Municipal Corporation, who has said that there has been a disruption in the official work and also he has been threatened, on the basis of which this case has been registered by the police.

Meanwhile, the complainant said that two days back Congress leaders and workers had come in large numbers after which they came and closed the gate of the Municipal Corporation office. Amit Kumar is a watchman here at the Municipal Corporation office.

Not strong enough… : Ravneet Bittu

Ravneet Bittu has reacted on the FIR lodged against him. In a post on X, sharing the copy of FIR he said, “Punjab govt not strong enough to take action on haryana police for shooting & killing our farmers but registered an FIR on me and my colleagues for protesting against the govt. very next day.”
