Islamabad: Ramesh Singh Arora appointed as President of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee

Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has made Ramesh Singh Arora the President of the Committee and Bibi Satwant Kaur the General Secretary.

On this occasion, Ramesh Arora has invited the Sikh Gurdwara Committees in India to come together on one platform to find solutions to the problems faced by Sikhs all over the world.

He said that the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee will continue to guard the original Nanakshahi calendar of 2003.

  Arora has also been elected member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly on a minority seat in the February 8 general elections.

After the election, Arora said that “I will discharge my responsibility as President efficiently and steps will be taken for the betterment of the Sikh community.”
