Phagwara Police succeeded in arresting 6 foreign girls in the case of extorting money by threatening innocent people. SHO of Satnampura Police Station Gaurav Dhir informed about the case. Under his supervision, the police party was present near Dogra Dhaba Maheru Road for patrolling.
Daljit Singh, son of Manjit Singh, said that at night around 12.30 He was going to Tea Point from Dogra Dhaba. When he reached the tea square, a foreign black girl was standing there who stopped him and took him to the other where there were five other foreign girls.
The girls standing there threatened him at the point of a knife and said that he should hand over everything to them or else he will be killed or they will shout that he has molested us.
According to the victim, these girls come from different countries and live in the PGs built at Maheru and lure the innocent people into their trap and later extort a huge amount of money by threatening to blackmail them.
While taking further action regarding the matter, the police is registering a case against the said girls.
