Earlier, in the month of February, the SIT had summoned Bikram Singh Majithia for questioning. But at that time the farmer’s movement was at its peak. Also, all police duty was posted at Shambhu border. All officers and personnel were posted on the border front. In such circumstances, this investigation could not be done. Also, the investigation was adjourned at that time. After this he has been invited again.

The case against Bikram Singh Majithia was registered during the Congress government just before the implementation of the election code for the assembly elections on 20 December 2021. After this he went to jail. Majithia got bail on 10 August 2022.

Majithia has already been raising questions on the matter. He says it is a one of a kind NDPS case. In which the police has not made any recovery. However, the police have recorded the statements of many people caught in drug trafficking.
