Ludhiana: The meeting of the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) was held today at the ISDU Bhavan in Ludhiana under the leadership of the farmers’ leaders. A total of 25 organizations participated in the meeting. Meanwhile, a plan was made to hold a Mahapanchayat at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on March 14.
The issues of the Maha Panchayat to be held on March 14 were discussed by all the organizations and emphasis was also placed on creating a new strategy.
Speakers of various organizations gave their opinion on many issues while discussing.
In the discussion held in the meeting, the issues including, MSP, Punishment to culprits of Lakhimpur Khiri incident, Case registered against Farmers and farmers being stopped at Shambu and Khanauri border were important.
While making a strategy for the Maha Panchayat to be held in Delhi on March 14, the speakers said that if the farmers are not allowed to go to Delhi on March 14, then traffic and railway tracks will be blocked by the farmers at that place. Farmers also said that there will be a sit-in demonstration if they are stopped on way.
