Rohtak: The team of Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau arrested Joginder, a data entry operator working under Haryana Skill Employment Corporation Limited at the Municipal Corporation office in Rohtak district, red-handed while taking a bribe of ₹ 11000. Action has been taken against the accused by registering an FIR in Anti Corruption Bureau, Rohtak.
Giving information about this, the government spokesperson said that the team of Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau had received information that the accused Joginder had demanded a bribe of ₹ 22000 from the complainant in return for giving ‘No Objection Certificate’ of the house. The accused was arrested red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 11000. This entire proceeding was conducted with complete transparency in front of the witnesses. The matter is being investigated by collecting all the necessary evidence.
The spokesperson of the Bureau while appealing to the general public said that if any officer or employee demands bribe in return for doing government work, then immediately inform about it on Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau’s toll-free number 1800-180-2022 and 1064.
