Punjab Govt should take responsibility: Farm leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan on Sangrur Hooch Tragedy

Joginder Singh Ugrahan said that if poisoned liquor is coming and being sold or manufactured in Punjab, then the government is responsible for it.

Sangrur: Joginder Singh Ugrahan, president of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan, has made a big statement in the case of more than 20 deaths due to poisonous liquor in Sangrur.

Joginder Ugrahan raised questions on the government and said that if someone dies due to drugs or poisonous liquor in Punjab, then the Punjab government is responsible. He even questioned that what is the intelligence apparatus of the government doing during which nearly two dozen people have lost their lives with poisoned liquor?

Let us tell you that recently Cabinet Minister Aman Arora had claimed that this poisonous liquor was not bought from the contract of the Punjab government. Therefore, the Punjab government is not responsible for this. The deceased had bought this liquor from outside. Punjab government is not responsible in this.

Regarding this, Joginder Singh Ugrahan said that if poisoned liquor is coming and being sold or manufactured in Punjab, then the government is responsible for it.

The government should take responsibility and take strict action against the culprits. Their faces should be exposed and they should be punished and the families of the victims should be helped.
