Jalandhar : The process of changing parties of leaders continues before the Punjab Lok Sabha Elections. On Tuesday, a Congress MP joined BJP and today the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a big blow. Sitting MLA from Jalandhar west Sheetal Angural left AAP. There are speculations that he is likely to join BJP.
He posted on his meta handle that he quits Aam Aadmi Party.
Sheetal Angural is the same person who defeated Sushil Kumar Rinku in the 2022 assembly elections. However, after this defeat Rinku joined AAP. Sheetal Angural represents Jalandhar West seat. Angural is a politician by profession and had tried his hand in electoral politics only two years ago.
Let us tell you that on Tuesday itself, Congress MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu had taken a big decision and joined BJP. He had said that he wants to bridge the gap between Punjab and the Centre, hence he has joined BJP.
