Chandigarh : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur gave birth to a baby girl in a private hospital in Mohali on Thursday. Both mother and child are healthy. Along with this, he has now been discharged from the hospital.
On this occasion, CM Bhagwant Mann himself had reached the hospital to take the family. He was holding the newborn girl in his hands. At the gate of the hospital, he interacted with the doctors and administrators of the hospital and thanked them.
Earlier on Thursday, he himself had posted on his social media account. It was written that God has blessed him with a daughter. Both mother and child are healthy.
After reaching home they were welcomed there. After this they met the media personnel and entered the house. After this, the daughter and wife were welcomed with shower of flowers and beating of drums. The Chief Minister walked from the gate to the house.
Let us mention that CM Bhagwant Mann has become a father for the third time. Before this, he had two children, son Dilshan and daughter Seerat, from his first wife Inderpreet Kaur. Divorced with Inderpreet Kaur in 2015 after which wife moved to America with children. When Bhagwant Mann became the CM of Punjab, both the children were present in the function organized at that time.
