Jalandhar : MLA Sheetal Angural, who left AAP and joined BJP, also resigned from his post, had sent his resignation to the Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on March 28, but it is being said that Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan has rejected his resignation.
Reacting to this, Sheetal Angral said that she has resigned from his post but the Speaker did not accept his resignation.
Angural said that if his resignation is not accepted, he will approach the court.
He said that the Punjab government does not want to hold a by-election on this seat along with the Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, his resignation is not being accepted.
