Need to Save Punjab from Akali Dal: Chetan Singh Jauramajra

Taking a dig at the Akali Dal’s Punjab Bachao Yatra, Minister Joramajra said that there is need to save Punjab from the Akali dal.

Chandigarh: On the arrest of Prakash Singh, son of Sucha Singh Langah by Himachal Police, AAP Punjab Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra has launched a sharp attack on Shiromani Akali Dal.

Raising the issue of recovery of 42 grams of heroin from the former minister’s son, Jauramajra said that Akali Dal is the party that spread the roots of drug addiction in Punjab.

Shimla Police Arrest 5 with Heroin

Parkash Singh who is son of former SAD minister Sucha Singh Langah along with four others, including a girl, were arrested by the Himachal Police in Shimla on charges of possessing drugs.

The police have recovered 42 grams of heroin from their possession. All of them were staying in a hotel. Police raided them on a tip-off and found Langah’s son selling drugs.

The arrest was made last night by the Special Investigation Team of Shimla Police. The arrested accused include, Prakash Singh, Ajay Kumar, Avni, Shubham Kaushal and Baljindra. Apart from the Minister’s son Accused Ajay is a constable in Punjab Police.

Shimla police have arrested all accused and registered cases under the NDPS act.
