Chandigarh: Today after the son and daughter-in-law joined the BJP, Sikander Singh Maluka’s first statement came out. He said that he had persuaded them (Son and daughter-in-law) a lot but they didn’t agree.
On whether he will also join BJP, Maluka said that he is still in SAD.
Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Badal held a meeting with party workers from Rampura and Maur assembly segments in Bathinda district today. The meeting came day after Senior Shriomani Akali dal leader Sikander Singh Maluka’s Son and Daughter-in-law joined BJP.
In the meeting stringent action was taken against Maluka as SAD has made Janmeja Singh Sekhon as in-charge from Maur Assembly segment. It should be noted that Sikander Singh Maluka was the SAD in-charge from Maur and now his place has been given to Janmeja Singh Sekhon.
Gurpreet Singh Maluka and his wife IAS Parampal Kaur Maluka joined BJP yesterday in New Delhi.
