According to the information received from the source, Raminder Awla has held about half a dozen meetings with the top leadership of the BJP in Punjab and the Centre.

Sources claim that he recently called a meeting of his supporters in Jalalabad, in which he also hinted about it. Raminder is currently in the Congress party, but along with the Congress, BJP, Akali Dal and AAP are also trying to make him their candidate.

If Raminder joins the BJP, the Congress can bet on former MP Sher Singh Ghubaya or his son Davinder Ghubaya. Akali Dal may field Vardev Singh Noni Mann, son of Zora Singh Mann, as their candidate. Along with this, Aam Aadmi Party has not yet showed their cards.
