Farmers are disrupting BJP candidates from campaigning

While the candidates are facing difficulties in campaigning due to farmers’ opposition, the law and order situation in the state is deteriorating. Farmers are constantly besieging BJP candidate from Faridkot Hans Raj Hans, BJP candidate from Bathinda Parampal Kaur, Parneet Kaur from Patiala, Taranjit Singh Sandhu from Amritsar Sahib. Farmers are constantly disrupting BJP candidates to prevent them from campaigning.

The farmers say that the demands of the farmers have been ignored by the central government. Even farmers were not allowed to go further at the Shambhu barrier to prevent them from going to Delhi. Farmer Shubkaran Singh died due to Haryana Police firing.

AAP candidates are also being opposed

Aam Aadmi candidate from Bathinda and Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudia is also being opposed by the farmers. Similarly, the farmers are protesting against the comments made by Bhucho Mandi MLA Jagsir Singh against the farmers.

The Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said in favor of the farmers during an event last day that you (central government) did not allow the farmers to go to Delhi. The owners of the villages are farmers and now the farmers do not allow you to enter the villages. Farmers have got more strength with this statement of the Chief Minister.

The sit-in by farmers at Shambhu railway station under the leadership of Sanyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) continues today for the fourth day. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has appealed to the farmers and voters of Punjab to keep in mind the death of farmers in Lakhimpur Khiri, not to implement the demands, and the death of Shubhkaran Singh before voting.

AAP didn’t compensate for flood damage

Attacking the central government as well as the AAP government, Pandher said that the Chief Minister had promised to compensate the loss of crops and even the loss of chickens during the flood in the state a few months ago, but the AAP government has failed to protect the farmers. No compensation was given for the crops. Pandher said that due to sudden rain and hailstorm yesterday, the crops have been damaged a lot. All in all, the candidates in the state are facing the wrath of the farmers.
