Mansa: Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring and Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa will reach Sidhu Moosewala’s haveli this afternoon in Moosa Village. It is reported that both Congress leaders will meet Father of slain singer Sidhu Moosewala, and BalKaur Singh.
The meeting of Congress leaders with Balkaur Singh has come during the time when speculations are there that Balkaur Singh can contest the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
Balkaur Singh can contest the election from the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat as an Independent Candidate. Earlier, it was said that Balkaur Singh can be given a ticket from Bathinda by Congress but later Congress announced Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu as its candidate from Bathinda. It was said that Balkaur Singh has made his file for nomination as an Independent candidate.
Now after the news of Balkaur Singh contesting elections sparked, Congress leaders are trying to reach out to him. It is said that Congress can offer him the ticket to contest from Bathinda’s seat on the ticket of Congress.
The slain singer’s father, who recently welcomed a second son with his wife through IVF, had in a conversation with locals at his residence hinted that he may contest elections. As soon as the information came out, the political tensions increased as its going to be four four-cornered battle in Bathinda.
