BSP Candidate from Jalandhar Balwinder Kumar claims ‘Discrimination’, says ‘security not given’

He added that a meeting has also been held with the Deputy Commissioner and Police commissioner regarding this.

Jalandhar: Bahujan Samaj Party’s Lok Sabha candidate Advocate Balwinder Kumar held a press conference again in Jalandhar. During this time, he said that he is facing discrimination as all other candidates have been given security whereas he is the only one who is left.

He added that a meeting has also been held with the Deputy Commissioner and Police commissioner regarding this. He said that he has been assured about the security but still no action has been taken.

While talking further, he said that in the last Lok Sabha elections, he had got more than 2 lakh votes from the Jalandhar seat, whereas in the 2022 assembly elections, about 34 thousand votes were cast from the Kartarpur seat in his favor.

He said that despite getting huge mandate from the people, administration has shown bias towards him and never gave him the police security.
