Sukhpal Singh Khaira Handless in Elections

The resignation of former Sangrur MLA, Dalvir Singh Goldy, has compounded the problems for Congress candidate Sukhpal Singh Khaira in the Lok Sabha elections. Khaira assumed that Goldy is his right hand in Sangrur general election and former Punjab minister Vijay Inder Singla’s Left hand.

After Goldie’s resignation and Vijay Inder Singla being fielded by the party from Anandpur Sahib’s seat, Sukhpal Khaira finds himself in a difficult position, having lost significant support. Sukhpal Khaira has become helpless. He has lost both of his hands.

It has become increasingly challenging for the Congress party to establish a foothold in Sangrur, which is the home district of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The situation has been exacerbated by the resignation of former Sangrur MLA and district head Dalveer Singh Goldy, which has caused a shift in the political landscape of Sangrur.
