Jalandhar: Thieves has stolen cash and other costly items worth about Rs. 50 thousand from the house of Sufi Singer Master Saleem intervening night of Friday and Saturday Jalandhar Aabadpura.
Incident happened late night at around 2.40 am. Before the incident, the thieves had turned the CCTV camera installed outside the house cum office.
Singer Master Salim’s PA Abhishek told that a boy named Mani has been hired to work at home. He arrives around 10 O’clock in the morning. He saw that the lock on the door of the house was lying on the road side.
After which he went inside and saw that the locks on the doors of the entire house were broken and the cash lying in the locker was missing. Immediately he informed Abhishek about the incident.
PA Abhishek said that, When we started checking the CCTV, it was found that the accused had turned the CCTV to the other side. However, a CCTV has surfaced, in which two accused are seen coming riding on Activa.
Master Salim’s close aide and his PA Abhishek told that after the incident, information about the matter was immediately given to the Police Station Division No. 6. Abhishek said- thieves stolen Rs. 50 thousand from locker. The accused had also taken a big inverter with them.
This incident took place in Preet Nagar near Aabadpur, adjacent to Model Town, the most posh area of the city. There is always police patrolling in the said area, but still the accused absconded after committing the crime.
