Bike rider burnt alive wheat residue fire in Kapurthala village Begowal

Kapurthala: A bike rider burnt alive and died on the spot Begowal (Kapurthala) in Punjab. the deceased has been identified as Gurvinder Singh (25), resident of Ward No. 3 Begowal. The sister of the deceased Gurvinder has told that her father is admitted in the government hospital. Gurvinder Singh had stayed at night in hospital.

The sister of the deceased Gurvinder has told that her father is admitted in the government hospital. Gurvinder Singh had stayed at night in hospital with father. Next day in the afternoon he was returning from the hospital. During this time the accident happened.

SHO Inspector Amarjeet Kaur said that After receiving information about the incident, Begowal police station staff reached on the spot. She said police has registered the case and start the investigation.

According to the police, Gurvinder Singh was returning home from Government Hospital Bhulath on his bike. When he reached near village Bhadas on Bhulatha-Begowal road, he encountered a fire that had broken out in a wheat field, causing his bike to be engulfed in flames.

As soon as the bike came in contact with the fire, the bike caught fire, due to which it overturned on the roadside. Bike rider also got badly burnt. After receiving the information, fire brigade vehicles along with the police also reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Also Gurvinder Singh was admitted to Civil Hospital. There, doctors declared him dead.
