Farmer’s Agitation at Shambhu border: Many trains cancelled, route diverted

Operation of these trains remained disrupted
Train numbers on the up line are 14507 Fazilka Express, 12459 New Delhi-Amritsar Intercity Express, 12497 Shan-e-Punjab Express, 14033 Jammu Mail, apart from 14034 Jammu Mail, 14508 Bathinda Fazilka Express, 12460 Amritsar-New Delhi Intercity Express, on the down line.

22430 Delhi Superfast Express and 12498 Shan-e-Punjab Express trains remained cancelled. Whereas train numbers 14053/54 Himachal Express, 11077/78 Jhelum Express, 15707/08 Amrapali Express, 11057/58 Dadar Express, 12919/20 Malwa Superfast Express were operated on another route.

Due to railway track jam in Ambala, some long distance trains have been cancelled, while the route of some trains has been changed. Passenger trains are running on their scheduled time. Due to less number of trains, crowding in passenger trains has increased.
