BJP Candidate from Amritsar Taranjit Singh Sandhu pays obeisance ahead of filing nomination

He will be accompanied by Union Foreign Minister S Jaishankar while filing his nomination.

Amritsar: The process of filing nominations ahead of the Punjab Lok Sabha elections has started with the issuance of notification. On the 4th Day, after the issuance of notification for the final phase of the election, Today as many as 18 candidates from different parties will be filing their nominations. Names include BJP Candidate from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu, Congress Candidate from Jalandhar Charanjit Singh Channi, BJP Candidate from Jalandhar Sushil Kumar Rinku.

BJP Candidate from Amritsar and former Diplomat Taranjit Singh Sandhu will also be filing his nomination today. He will be accompanied by Union Foreign Minister S Jaishankar while filing his nomination. A roadshow will also be held today before he along with party workers will file his nomination.

Taranjit Sandhu pays obeisance before filing nomination

Before Filing the nomination, BJP Candidate paid obeisance here at Gurudwara and a temple. In a post on X, he said ” Prior to filing my nomination papers today, sought divine blessings at sacred Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi and Sri Ram Dham Mandir in Amritsar, praying for the almighty’s guidance to remain steadfast on this righteous journey of public service.”
