Haryana : Once again in Gurugram old files will be opened of controversial land deals. Former CM Bhupendra Huda has received a big blow from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. High Court judge Anil Khetarpal made it clear that it would be open to the SN Dhingra Commission to continue the proceedings from that stage. Bhupendra Hooda had challenged the investigation of Justice SN Dhingra Commission.
The High Court has made it clear that the state government may decide to continue the Justice SN Dhingra inquiry commission set up to probe controversial land deals in Gurugram, including cases related to Congress chief Rahul Gandhi’s brother-in-law Robert Vadra.
Earlier in January 2019, a division bench of the High Court had held that the report of Justice SN Dhingra Commission, which investigated the controversial land deals, was ‘non-est’ (non-existent). However, since both the judges of the division bench had different views on this issue, a third judge was sent for consideration.
