Panchkula : The result of secondary (educational) regular candidates was 95.22 percent and the result of self-study candidates was 88.73 percent. The Board Chairman heartily congratulated all the students for their better examination results.
He said that 2,86,714 candidates had appeared in the Secondary (Educational) regular examination, out of which 2,73,015 passed. The result (E.R.) of 3,652 candidates was Essential Repeat, meaning that such candidates will need to re-appear in the exam.
Thus, girl students have gained an edge by registering 2.10 percent more pass percentage than boys.
He said that in this examination the pass percentage of government schools was 93.19 and the pass percentage of private schools was 97.80. In this examination, the pass percentage of students from rural areas has been 95.24, while the pass percentage of students from urban areas has been 95.18.
In terms of pass percentage, district Panchkula stood at the top and district Nuh stood at the bottom.
The Board Chairman said that this result can also be downloaded by the concerned schools/institutions from this evening by visiting the Board’s website and logging in with their user ID and password. If any school does not get the results on time, it will be responsible for it.
