Punjab Lok Sabha elections: BJP candidates Preneet Kaur, Anita Somprakash, Geja Ram to file nominations today

After finishing the process of filling the papers till Tuesday, the BJP candidates will start their election campaign completely.

Chandigarh: Nominations for the 7th phase of Lok Sabha elections are in full swing. Today is the second last day of filing nominations. Punjab will undergo polling in the last phase.  So far 143 candidates have filed their nomination in Punjab. Today too, prominent candidates of different parties will be filing their nominations.

BJP candidate from Patiala Preneet Kaur will be filing her nomination. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be accompanying her during the nomination process.

Preparations for the last round of nomination of BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections are complete. After finishing the process of filling the papers till Tuesday, the BJP candidates will start their election campaign completely. This information was given by the General Secretary of the Punjab BJP, Rakesh Rathore.

On Monday, candidate Anita Som Prakash from Hoshiarpur will file papers under the leadership of Union Minister Gajinder Singh Shekhawat and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

BJP candidate Geja Ram Valmiki from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib will file papers on Monday himself. On this occasion, BJP national leader Prem Chand Bhatsal and Union Minister Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi and other BJP leaders will also be present.

BJP candidate from Hoshiarpur Anita Somprakash, Akali Dal candidate from Bathinda Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Sohan Singh Thandal from Hoshiarpur, Daljit Cheema from Gurdaspur, AAP candidate from Gurdaspur Sherry Kalsi, Kuldeep Dhaliwal from Amritsar, Balbir Singh from Patiala, will also file their nomination today.
