Chandigarh: INDIA bloc candidate Manish Tiwari filed his nomination on Tuesday. Earlier, Congress and AAP workers had united outside the main building of SBI in Sector 17. Congress and AAP workers reached here in large numbers.
When Manish Tiwari was reaching the DC office to file his nomination, he was holding a copy of the Constitution in his hand. Thousands of workers were seen along with Aam Aadmi Party co-in-charge Dr SS Ahluwalia, Mayor Kuldeep Kumar and Congress President HS Lucky.
Congress and AAP are unitedly contesting elections in Chandigarh this time, hence Manish Tiwari is the candidate of INDIA Alliance. Manish Tiwari in his election campaign has been seen saying that these elections are to save democracy.
During the filing of the nomination, Dr. SS Ahluwalia, in charge of Aam Aadmi Party, was also present. He said that in the coming days, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal will also hold a road show in Chandigarh. He also added that public will give a befitting reply to the murderer of democracy in these elections.
