AGTF bust terror module: 4 members along with 3 pistols and 17 cartridges arrested

Four module members Gurwinder alias Shera, Gurpreet Singh, Ranjit Singh & Jagjit alias Jashan have been arrested by the AGTF.

Chandigarh: In a major breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), Punjab has busted a module operated by foreign-based terrorist mastermind Iqbalpreet Singh alias Buchi. Iqbalpreet Singh is a close associate of Ramandeep Bagga alias Canadian who is lodged in Tihar Jail under UAPA charges in case of targeted killings in Punjab in 2016-2017.

Four module members Gurwinder alias Shera, Gurpreet Singh, Ranjit Singh & Jagjit alias Jashan have been arrested by the AGTF.

Gurwinder alias Shera was earlier involved in the conspiracy of targeted killing in 2022 which was averted by his arrest then.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Shera and his associates were planning to commit sensational crimes in Punjab on the directions of Iqbalpreet alias Buchi.

Along with the arrest of four module members, recovery of 3 pistols and 13 live cartridges have been made the AGTF.
