Haryana : Himmat Singh, resident of Kaithal district of Haryana and currently working as Additional Advocate General, Haryana and has been appointed by the state government as Chairman of Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
However, the government has sought permission from the Election Commission of India for the appointment to the post of Speaker during the Model Code of Conduct implemented due to the Lok Sabha elections. He will be officially appointed as soon as he gets permission.
He is a resident of village Khedi Matarwa, district Kaithal and done his BALLB and LLM from Kurukshetra University. Also he has practiced as an advocate for 16 years and is currently serving as AAG in the state.
Apart from this, Himmat Singh has also been a part of the development and implementation of e-custody certificate initiative, Digital India campaign and has also served as the coordinator of Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System (CCTNS) data integration project in Haryana.
