Rajasthan Police book 10 Police personnel from Ludhiana, case of abduction, extortion and false implication registered

The father has alleged that he has been implicated in a false case. He further said that police personnel of Punjab police have demanded Rs 15 lakhs from them.

Ludhiana: As many as 10 police personnel of Ludhiana Police Commissionerate by Rajasthan police. The police personnel have been booked for allegedly demanding money, kidnaping and implicating a 22-year-old in case of drug peddling. The FIR has been registered here at Jhanwar police station of Jodhpur district.

It is said that the son of a man living in village Jhanwar of Jodhpur district was arrested by the Punjab Police on charges of drug trafficking. The father has alleged that he has been implicated in a false case. He further said that police personnel of Punjab police have demanded Rs 15 lakhs from them.

Background of the Case

Jhanwar police station chief said that on the orders of the court, the report of Premaram has been registered. In the FIR registered, police personnel including Inderjit,  Subeg Singh ASI,  Manjinder Singh, Gurpinder Singh, Sukhdeep Singh, Basant Lal, Dhanwant Singh, Harpreet Singh, Satnam Singh, Head Constable of Thana Sadar ASI Rajkumar and Harpreet Kaur have been named.

Premaram told in the report that his son Manveer Vishnoi has been preparing for the competitive examination in Jaipur for the last three years. Manveer came home in the month of  March. On March 6, Manveer left his home for Jodhpur but did not return. After this, the father filed a missing complaint on March 8.

After the case of Manveer’s disappearance was registered, the police and family members started searching for him. The last location of Manveer was traced to Bikaner. Meanwhile, on March 8, Manveer’s sister received a call in which kidnappers demanded Rs 15 lakh from the sister for the release of Manveer. After this, the father also received a call asking for 15 lakh rupees. He was threatened to give money or else his son will be trapped.  

Manveer’s father further said that he had received a press note from the Ludhiana police on March 9. As per which he was arrested along with 2 kg of opium from a bus in Ludhiana.  Manveer’s father claimed that a false case has been registered by the Ludhiana Police and his son is being implicated for drug peddling.

When the CCTV footage of various toll roads from Jodhpur to Bikaner was examined, it was found that the police officials of Ludhiana Police of Punjab had taken Manveer from Jodhpur. He also had an Innova car, in which Manveer was sitting.

All these footage were from March 7. The one whose photo was in the press note was also sitting in this car. CCTV The footage was included as evidence and went to Punjab. He wandered there for two months and when he did not get justice, he sought refuge in the court and submitted the evidence.
