Jawali : The liquor game is going on openly due to the Lok Sabha elections. Liquor consignments are being seized continuously but still the mafia is not improving. On the basis of secret information, the team of Excise and Taxation Department has succeeded in seizing 92 boxes of illicit liquor from a house in Nagrota Suriyan.
On Tuesday, the police along with the team of Excise and Taxation Department has raided the house of Ramesh Chand resident of Nagrota Suriya and seized 92 boxes of illegal liquor.
Police said that 74 boxes of English liquor and 18 boxes of beer have been recovered. Further action is being taken after arresting the accused.
Assistant Commissioner of Excise and Taxation Department, Joginder Sharma said that on the basis of secret information, 92 boxes of liquor have been recovered from the house of Ramesh Chand in Nagrota Suriyan. The Excise and Taxation Department has registered a case against Ramesh Chand and further action is being taken.
