Farmers protests against BJP candidate Sushil Rinku

Farmers raised slogans against BJP and showed black flags to BJP workers when they arrived. During this time a large number of police personnel were deployed.

According to the information, an election meeting of BJP workers was organized in a palace located in Jandiala Majki. Sushil Kumar Rinku was about to come here for election campaign. When farmer organizations got information about the election meeting of the BJP candidate, leaders of Bharatiya Kisan Union Rajewal and Doaba Kisan Union announced their protest. Protest by showing black flags to Sushil Kumar Rinku.

The situation had become tense due to the protest by farmers when Sushil Kumar Rinku reaching the rally venue. Meanwhile, farmer organizations and BJP leaders reacted sharply against each other.
When the police got information about the entire protest, the police at Jandiala outpost came to control the situation.

Farmers said- protest will continue in entire Punjab
The police officers completely controlled the situation and did not allow any further trouble. Farmer leaders said that BJP will be opposed in a similar manner throughout Punjab.
