Haryana: In the Lok Sabha Polls 2024 for increasing voting in the state Election commission has started an unique initiative, sending voting invitation door-to-door. While distributing invitation to the people they also gave a message to vote on 25 May. This special invitation having a special message for above age 18 to cast vote in the coming polls.
BLO’s of the area are distributing along with the voter slip and insisting people to cast vote on 25th May.
Person can cast their vote with the help of other documents, if they don’t have voter card. But it is necessary to have name in the voter’s list, this need to be ensure by the voter. Person whose name in the list only they can vote on 25th May.
Voting Invitation is attracting the people. The invitation has been designed beautifully by Election Commission and all details like venue, date etc are mentioned in the invitation card. These cards are designed similarly marriage invitation and to invite voters this time.
Data has been released by the election commission that this year voting is turning out to be low. Many people not participating in the voting this year.
On the card it has been mentioned that “chunav mein sabko matdaan krne jarur jarur aana hai”-Everyone must come to vote in the elections.
For getting information about your area candidate, one can download the KYC application from playstore. Also to get the information about the polling booth can install the Voter Helpline App it has been printed on the invitation card.
