Una: Punjabi Youth dies in truck-bike collision, 2 injured

The deceased youth belonged to Punjab and has been identified as Gurpreet Singh resident of Nangal, Punjab.

Una: In a tragic incident, youth riding a bike died in a collision with a truck. The accident took place near Jannat Hotel Santoshgarh in Una district. There were two other two other youths too who have been injured in this collision.

The police have taken the body of deceased into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The truck driver is not identified yet and, a case has been registered against the unknown truck driver and investigation has been started.

According to the information received, Daman Saini, resident of Santoshgarh, along with Gurpreet and Gurdeep Singh, residents of Nangal, Punjab, had come to Ajauli on Sunday night on a bike for their personal work. During this time, while overtaking the bike, an unknown truck hit it from the side near Jannat Hotel. After the collision, the bike went out of control and fell down. Following the severe collision, Gurpreet died while other two friends got injured.
