Samrala: In a tragic incident today, a bus full of passengers rammed into a tipper trolley. The accident took place near Chahlan village near Samrala.
As per the information, the bus that was full of passengers for Char Dham Yatra from Indore rammed into trolley. The tipper trolley was standing in the middle of the road. The accident took place early morning around 5 am.
The accident turned out to be terrible as one side of the bus got completely damaged. passengers trapped in the bus were screaming for help. People from nearby gathered and started work to get the passengers out of the bus. Police was also called on spot by people.
The Samrala police also reached the spot and the injured passengers were taken out of the bus and rushed to the Civil Hospital of Samrala. In this accident, two female passengers died on the spot while the condition of another passenger is said to be very critical. In total, 15 passengers got injured in this fatal accident.
A villager who helped for relief work said that the accident happened around 5:30 am and the people of the village immediately reached the spot for rescue work after hearing the sound of the accident.
SHO Samrala Rao Barinder Singh, who reached the spot as soon as he got the information about the accident, said that he got the information about the accident early in the morning and he immediately reached the spot with the police force. Investigation is underway.
