Jalandhar: A delegation of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan/Mid Day Meal office workers and special teachers met Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during his visit to Jalandhar today.
During the meeting, the employee leaders talked about orders for regular and office workers’ running salary of Rs 5000 per month. Anomaly was discussed.
The office workers have been making their demands known to the cabinet ministers and various MLAs coming to Jalandhar daily. Today, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann assured the leaders of the organization that regular orders will be issued soon and the salary anomaly will be removed.
While issuing a press statement, employee leaders Shobhit Bhagat, Lalit Mishra said that the Chief Minister had announced on September 5, 2022 to fix the contractual employees of the Education Department, which the government had also issued a notification on October 7, 2022, but Till today, the employees have not received regular orders regarding which the employees were constantly reminding the ministers and MLAs of the promise.
Apart from this, the salary of the employees is getting less by about 5000 per month. In this regard, he has informed the Education Minister and the Finance Minister several times about the issue, but the issue has not been resolved.
