Vote in Large numbers: Congress candidate from Rohtak Deepender Hooda casts vote in native village

Father of Deepnder Hooda and Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda also cast his vote in Rohtak today

Rohtak: Congress candidate Deepender Singh Hooda casts his vote at a polling station in his native village Sanghi in Rohtak on Saturday. Deepender Singh Hooda is contesting election from Rohtak seat. Hooda is in the electoral fray against the BJP candidate and sitting MP Arvind Sharma from the Rohtak seat.



Father of Deepnder Hooda and Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda also cast his vote in Rohtak today in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha polls.

In a post on X, Deepender Hooda said, “Today I voted with the entire family in my ancestral village Sanghi in Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency. All of you voters are also requested to vote in large numbers. Your every vote will strengthen the country’s democracy. Inspire people around you to vote in large numbers”


Randeep Surjewala casts vote

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala cast his vote at a polling centre in Kaithal, Haryana today. The previous election in 2019 saw Arvind Sharma narrowly defeat Deepender Singh Hooda by just 7,503 votes.
secured 573,845 votes while Hooda received 566,342 votes.

Deepender Singh Hooda, who previously held the Rohtak seat for three terms (2005 bypoll, 2009, and 2014), is aiming to reclaim his stronghold.
