Gurdaspur: A very sad incident has emerged from Gurdaspur. Before flight to Australia young boy died in a road accident . Bikram Singh son of Captain Sagar Singh resident Kahnuwan returning from market after purchase some personal belongings on motorcycle. A car coming from wrong side hit the bike.
Bikram Singh fell down on the paved road from bike. Young boy suffered from serious head injury and died on the spot. Car driver fled from spot. Police has registered a case against the unknown car driver under sections 304A, 279, 337, 338, 427.
After the death of a motorcyclist due to a collision with an unknown car driver, KahanuwanLet it be known that the deceased was to go abroad to Australia on 24th May.
In the statement given to the police, Swarn Singh son of Mangal Singh, resident of Kahanuwan told that his son-in-law Bikram Singh son of Captain Sagar Singh, who was to go abroad to Australia on 24 May. He died on 23 May at around 5 pm. He was returning home on his motorcycle the driver of a white car came from the front. At the turn in Waraich village, the car driver hit his motorcycle from the wrong side.
In this road accident he died on the spot. On the other hand, Sub Inspector Davinder Singh said that based on the statements of Swaran Singh, a case has been registered against the unknown car driver and the search for the culprit has been started.
