Khanna : Senior BJP leader and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting in Fatehgarh, Punjab. Here the Defense Minister said that the doctor has forbidden him to stand. Rajnath Singh to hold rally in Fatehgarh Sahib
Country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be on Punjab tour today. He will first attend the BJP rally in Khanna, Asia’s largest grain market. Here he will seek votes for BJP candidate Geza Ram from Fatehgarh Sahib Lok Sabha constituency. Rajnath Singh will come here at around 11 o’clock.
Helipad built in Bhattiyan, security arrangements strengthened
Since a boycott of BJP has already been announced by the United Kisan Morcha in Punjab. Farmers are protesting against BJP every day. Due to which the police administration is also completely on alert regarding Rajnath Singh’s visit to Khanna.
Apart from Punjab Police, other forces have also been deployed. A helipad has been built inside the playground at Bhattiyan, about two kilometers away from the rally venue. From there the convoy of vehicles of the Defense Minister will go to the rally.
Party leaders, workers and supporters from 9 constituencies will come
BJP District Secretary Param Walia said that BJP leaders, workers and supporters from all the nine assembly constituencies related to Fatehgarh Sahib will come to the rally. This rally will give great strength to BJP’s campaign.
