Holidays in Hisar schools till 31st May

Decision taken due to heat, DC issued orders, schools will remain closed till 12th.

Haryana: Given the scorching heat in Hisar, DC Hisar Pradeep Kumar Dahiya has written a letter to the DEO and ordered holidays in schools till May 31. DC has issued these orders citing the orders of Haryana Director of Secondary Education.

Even before this, DC had issued a similar order on May 20. In such a situation, schools can now decide on their own to extend further holidays. After which the DC wrote a letter to the Education Department official and ordered holidays in schools up to class 12th.

Let us tell you that these days the temperature in Hisar is above normal. Due to this it is extremely hot. Keeping in mind the health of the children, DC has asked to keep all government and private schools closed. The maximum temperature recorded in Hisar on Saturday was 44.8 degrees Celsius, which is 3 degrees more than normal. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued a red alert for heat in the coming days. There will be an effect of heat wave during this period.

In Hisar, dry winds coming from Sindh Balochistan are increasing the heat in the district. Due to which both maximum and minimum temperatures are increasing. The minimum temperature in Hisar is also above normal. The minimum temperature recorded in Hisar on Sunday was 24.7 degrees Celsius. However, it was less as compared to Saturday.

The minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 30.3 degrees Celsius, which was 4.0 degrees Celsius above normal.

The Northern Plains states, especially Haryana, NCR and Delhi, are in the grip of scorching heat and severe heat wave for the last ten days. Nautapa has started from Saturday. Due to this, after partial relief in the last two days, a rise in temperature is being seen again in the entire area. There will be Nautapa from 25th May to 2nd June.

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued red alert on 15 districts of Haryana and orange alert on 7 districts, the maximum impact of which is being seen in Rajasthan and Haryana adjacent to Rajasthan, NCR and Delhi.
