Punjab: Two months ago in Ludhiana, gangster Sagar Newton and 25-30 miscreants riding his bike had created a ruckus in Karnail Singh Nagar on Pakkhowal Road. He attacked a family and injured many people.
In this case, an elderly woman admitted in the hospital for the last 2 months has died. The police will now conduct the post-mortem of elderly Surjeet Kaur today, after which, based on the report, the section of assault by Sagar Newton will increase.
Giving information, Lal Chand, grandson of deceased Surjeet Kaur, said that his grandmother was admitted in the hospital for the last 2 months. He died yesterday. Sagar Newton also broke 2-3 cars. Some CCTV cameras were broken by the attackers.
Let us tell you that about 2 months ago, Amandeep Kaur, resident of Shaheed Karnail Singh Nagar street number 24, had given a complaint to the police that some youths attacked her house on the midnight of 6-7 April. A gangster named Sagar Newton was also among those youths.
All the miscreants attacked her and her family with sharp weapons.
Amandeep Kaur, Sarabjit Kaur, Dara Singh, and Surjit Kaur were seriously injured in the attack. At present, in this case, SHO of Dugri police station Gurpreet Singh said that in the previous FIR, a case has been registered under sections 307,324,452,427,148,149 of IPC. Now further action will be taken based on the post mortem report.
