Jalandhar: Massive Engulfs Dehat police station Maqsuda

Punjab: A massive fire broke out at the goods warehouse of Jalandhar Dehat police station Maqsuda. At present, the cause of the fire is not clear. There was no loss of life in the incident, but the scrap vehicles lying in the warehouse were burnt. Fire brigade teams had reached the spot.

The fire was brought under control after about an hour of effort.

Fire brigade officer Jaswant Singh said that the information was given in the control room of the fire brigade office at around 11 am. After which two vehicles were sent to the spot with immediate effect. The fire broke out in the goods warehouse located at the rear of the police station. The impounded vehicles and other junk items lying in the police station were burnt to ashes in the fire.


Fire brigade officer Jaswant Singh said that at present the cause of the fire is not clear. Because no one was allowed to come to the place where the fire broke out. As of now, the investigation is underway to find that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit, as there was an electrical switch installed near the goods warehouse. After investigating the matter soon, the report will be submitted to the authorities.
