Case registered against father and son for demanding extortion from cafe operator

Father and son are demanding extortion money for running the cafe, threatened to kill if they protest.

Haryana: A case of demanding extortion of Rs 20 thousand from a cafe operator has come to light. It is alleged that the accused had already extorted money from him. This time, when he refused to pay the extortion money, the accused father and son threatened him not to run the cafe. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case under IPC 384, 506, 34 in Sector-56 police station and started an investigation. However, the accused have not been arrested yet.

Laxman, a resident of village Wazirabad, told in his complaint to the police that he has a cafe in HUDA Market of Sector-56. For quite some time now, a father and son from Bandhwadi have been coming to his shop. It is alleged that they threaten him and ask for money.

Earlier also he had taken Rs 20 thousand from him. Now on 26th May, both of them came and started demanding extortion money of Rs 20 thousand from him. Threatened not to allow him to run the cafe here if he did not pay the money. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
