Priyanka Gandhi in HP: Target on PM Modi, says ‘PM doesn’t talk about real issues’

The Center did not declare it a national disaster because of the Congress government in Himachal, says Priyanka

Kullu: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi held public meetings in Himachal’s Kullu and Mandi on Wednesday. In both the public meetings, she targeted PM Narendra Modi. She said that the Prime Minister comes among the people during elections and does not talk about disaster, inflation, unemployment. Instead, he talks about religion and asks for votes.

Priyanka while targeting PM said, “he took donations from those on whom raids were conducted. The cases were put on hold. The raids were stopped. This is their honesty and civilization. When farmers protest, their electricity and water supply is cut off, they are called terrorists. Those who speak are being put in jail.”

Talking about the Natural calamities, she said that Last year, there was a disaster in Himachal, but the Center did not declare it a national disaster. The Center did not declare it a national disaster because of the Congress government in Himachal.

Targeting Adani, Priyanka said that today Adani is flourishing a lot. We see the weddings of their sons and daughters. She added that no one is cared about poor people, farmers and small scale businessmen.

Talking about about religion politics Priyanka said “today such politics has taken over the country in which its leaders think that by playing Hindu-Muslim card, they will get votes and gain power. That is why this happens in every election. She said that if you have the courage, then fight an election on issues like inflation, unemployment, atrocities on women.”

Priyanka targeted Centre for not fulfilling a single promise of theirs. Talking about former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, she said that she used to go to her constituency on foot, but today the Prime Ministerdoes not even need to get down from the car.
