Hansi : A massive fire broke out in Slums in Hansi, Hisar, Haryana on Saturday morning. Within a short time, 15 slums built here caught fire. This caused a stampede among the people living here.
A 5-year-old girl and her father were badly burnt in the fire. The goods kept in the slums also burnt completely. Many fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The fire could be controlled after several hours of effort.
According to the information, slums are built near the telephone exchange in front of New Model Town in Hansi. Today (1 June) at around 4 am, all their slums caught fire. When the fire broke out, all the people were sleeping in their slums at that time. When a truck driver passing by saw fire, he stopped his truck and woke up the people sleeping in the slums. After this, there was a stampede here.
In a short time, the fire spread massively. The fire brigade was informed about the fire. Meanwhile, a 5-year-old girl and another person got burnt in the fire here. After some time, the fire brigade reached the spot and tried to control the fire. After several hours of effort, the fire was extinguished, but by then almost all the goods had been burnt.
People told that a five-year-old girl was sleeping in the hut. After the fire broke out, her father Mahendra went to take her out. Meanwhile, both of them got burnt in the fire. Both have been admitted to a nearby private hospital. Cause of fire is ascertained yet.
