The education department has allowed students to cancel their seats or change their seats in Punjab’s School of Eminence (SOE) and Meritorious Schools. Today is the last date to file an application to change or cancel their seats.
In the notice, it is being said that, applications received after June 5 will not be considered by the department. However, seats will be allotted only if seats are vacant in Meritorious and School of Eminence.
Let us tell you that counseling is going on for admission in class 11th in 10 meritorious and 118 state schools.
In the counseling, many students demanded that they be changed to Meritorious and School of Eminence. Along with this, they also put forward many of their arguments before the department. The number of these students was very high. Then this matter was raised before the higher officials. After this, this decision has been approved by the department.
If the seat is canceled, there will be no chance again
The students who have to cancel their seats will have to first submit the application signed by their parents to the concerned school. At the same time, the department has clarified that the student whose seat in the Meritorious School or School of Eminence will be cancelled, will not be able to take admission in that school again and claim will not be considered by the department in future. At the same time, the fourth counseling will be held as per the fixed schedule. The admission process is going on in these schools for 4600 seats.
