During the Lok Sabha elections results, the main contest in Ludhiana was between Congress and BJP. From the beginning till the end, there was a close contest between Raja Warring and Ravneet Bittu.

In this election, BJP’s Ravneet Bittu, who was a two-time MP, left Congress and joined BJP this time. Bittu may have been at the second position in the election results, but he increased the vote bank of the party in Ludhiana to a great extent, due to which BJP was able to perform well in five constituencies of Ludhiana including North, West, South, East and Central.

Whereas Congress performed well in Atma Nagar, Dakha, Gill and Jagraon. There are 9 assembly constituencies in Ludhiana, out of which BJP was ahead in five and Congress in four. That is, BJP had a very strong hold in the city, while Congress was ahead in the out areas of Ludhiana.

Ludhiana has retained its Congress stronghold. Since 2009, Congress has been flying the flag of Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Manish Tiwari of Congress won from Ludhiana, while in 2014 and 2019, Congress won continuously and made Ravneet Bittu MP from here twice. This time too, Congress won and Raja Warring became the MP of Ludhiana.
