Kapurthala: A fire broke out in the outer part of an office located in the Jama Masjid Complex of Kapurthala this afternoon due to short circuit, causing chaos. Seeing the fire, the nearby shopkeepers tried to control the fire and immediately informed the fire brigade.
After getting information about the incident, the fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire.
Sparks came out from the electric wires
According to the information, on Thursday afternoon at around 12 o’clock, sparking occurred due to a sudden short circuit in the electric wires passing outside a private office in the Jama Masjid Complex, due to which flames started rising on the signboard and outer part of the said office.
Seeing the fire, the nearby shopkeepers tried to control the fire with the help of fire extinguisher cylinder and also informed the fire brigade. After which fire brigade officer Gurpreet Singh reached the spot with his team and controlled the fire. However, no loss has been reported in this accident.
