Brothers beat with sticks over land dispute in Bhiwani

Beaten badly with sticks; tractor driven over cotton crop, wife saves life.

Haryana: In Haryana’s Bhiwani, two brothers were attacked with sticks over a land dispute. Also, the crop standing in the field was crushed by the tractor. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. Sadar police station has registered a case and started an investigation.

Bhim Singh, resident of village Riwari Kheda Dhani Lal Singh, said that he works in agriculture. He was in his field this morning. At the same time, Manjeet, Rajesh, Gulab, Dhillon, resident of village Sirsa Ghoda and Neeti, resident of Kharak Kalan, came with their tractor. When they started taking the tractor out of the cotton crop, he refused to take the tractor through the dry crop.

He said that as soon as he said this, Manjeet got down from the tractor and caught him and Dhillon hit him on the face. Gulab hit the jelly in his hand on his leg. Hearing the noise, brother Shyam Singh came running and Dhillon hit Shyam Singh on the head with a stick. After this, both the brothers were beaten with kicks and sticks and left half dead. Bhim Singh said that there is a land dispute going on with the accused. This attack has been done because of this.

He told that when his wife came running after hearing the noise, the attackers left them and went away after seeing her. They threatened that today we have left you. When we get a chance, we will kill you. The son Kapil brought them to the Government Hospital Bhiwani. On the statement of the injured, the Sadar police station has registered a case.
