HRTC bus will run on Delhi-Leh route in Himachal

Keylong depot management will start bus service.

Himachal Pradesh: Himachal Road Transport Corporation’s bus service is going to start after a few days on the country’s longest and highest Delhi-Keylong-Leh route. HRTC Keylong depot is waiting for the bus route to be restored for vehicular movement on both sides.

As soon as the BRO informs that the route is open for vehicular movement on both sides, HRTC Keylong depot management will start the bus service. This route was closed for about nine months, but now after being restored for traffic, HRTC will start its bus service on this route. In the country’s longest route, passengers will be able to travel 1026 km from Leh to Delhi in just 30 hours for Rs 1740. As soon as the bus starts, tourists from outside states will be able to travel from Delhi to Leh on HRTC bus and easily see the valleys here. After the construction of Atal Tunnel, the journey from Delhi to Leh now takes 30 hours instead of 36.

This bus service passing through snow-clad mountains has a different thrill. Tourists and locals have been waiting for this bus service for a long time, now they will get the facility soon. On the other hand, Himachal Path Parivahan Nigam Keylong RM Radha Devi said that bus service between Manali-Leh and Leh-Manali will start soon. The HRTC management is waiting for the route to open for traffic on both sides.

As soon as vehicles run on both sides on the route, the HRTC bus service will also be started immediately. On this 30-hour route, one gets the opportunity to visit Leh-Ladakh along with Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh. Before this, tourists will visit the world famous tourist city of Manali, strategically important Atal Tunnel Rohtang and Lahaul Valley.

On the Delhi-Leh route, tourists visit the 16500 feet high Baralacha Pass, 15547 feet high Nakula Pass, 13480 feet high Tanglang La and 16616 feet high Lachungla Pass. Here the bus is stopped for a while for the tourists and the tourists enjoy photography at the pass.
