2 workers dies of suffocation in Kaithal

They had gone down to clean the oil tank in the oil mill and could not get out of the tank.

Haryana: On Friday a tragic accident took place in Pundri of Kaithal, Haryana. Two workers died due to suffocation while cleaning the oil tank in the oil mill. As the information about the case was received, the police from Pundri police station reached the spot. During this time, a huge crowd of people gathered outside the oil mill.

According to the information, both these workers are residents of Pundri area. In this accident, 30-year-old Mal alias Jaswant, a resident of Barsana and 47-year-old Vicky, a resident of Pundri, died. The police has started an investigation in this matter. At the same time, the family members of the deceased youth have accused the owner of the oil mill of negligence.

Two workers working in a private oil mill in Pundri city had gone down to clean the oil tank. During this, both of them suffocated. After this, by the time they were taken out, both these youths had died by that time.

Pundri police station in-charge Rajkumar said that as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and started investigating the case. Statements of the family members are being taken. Along with this, the bodies of the deceased have been sent to the district civil hospital for post-mortem.
