Chandigarh: The police has taken a big decision for the convenience of the people of Punjab. From SHOs to high officials, they will now sit in their offices from 11 am to 1 pm every day.
On the basis of this initiative, they will listen to the problems of the people. Orders related to this have been given by DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav. He has given this information by posting on his social media account.
This decision has been taken by the DGP to immediately resolve the complaints coming from the people. This order will be applicable to ADGP / IGP / DIG of all ranges, Police Commissioners, District SSPs, Sub-Divisional DSPs and SHOs. This order will be applicable on all working days. He said that this is also the duty of the police. People should not face any kind of problem.
Orders will also be applicable in Chandigarh Headquarters
The above orders of the police will also be applicable in the Chandigarh headquarters of Punjab Police. Senior officers of the rank of Special DGP/Additional DGP at the Police Headquarters will have to meet the people at the stipulated time.
The DGP has made it clear that everyone will have to follow the above orders. This is a big step taken by the police to reach out to the citizens. These efforts will continue to maintain law and order in the state.
